BRISTELL B23 Turbo

BRISTELL B23 is the CS23 certified aircraft from BRM Aero in Kunoviche, Czech Republic. Beyond the basic version, there’s also the B23 TURBO.

With the same airframe, the B23 TURBO offers the same comfort and luxury as the B23, but with a more powerful and turbo-charged engine: ROTAX 915 iSc with 141 pk.

Just like the B23, this aircraft comes Night VFR certified as a standard and optional IFR certification is available.

Go up to 50 knots (TAS) faster than the B23, take-off from (even) smaller airfield and climb with over 1200 feet per minute, all the way up to FL140.

With the B23 TURBO, you’ll fly faster and higher, and still have some perfomance on reserve, without compromising on comfort or space.

ADVANCED AVIONICS AS BASIC EQUIPMENT

The Night VFR version is equipped with two Garmin G3X touchscreens met SyntheticVision,
Garmin GNC255 communication and navigation radio, Garmin GMC507 auto pilot with
LEVEL button and L3 stand-by instruments.

Bristell B23 TURBO BRINGS YOU

HIGH ALTITUDES

Climb from 4000 feet tot 14000 feet with 1450 feet per minute at a comfortable 8 degree pitch-up attitude and a speed of 86 knots.
At FL140, fly a maximum of 157 KTAS.

LEASURE FLIGHTS

The high perfomance of the ROTAX 915 iSc with turbocharger and the MT constant speed proppeler allow you to enjoy limitless vistas of B23 cockpit at greater speed and higher altitudes.  With the manoeuvrable and stable B23 TURBO, you’ll be enjoying a coffee on Texel, Paris or wherever, in no time.

TRAVELING

With a range of 600 NM, 55 kg of bagage allowance and the performance of the B23 TURBO, this is the perfect way to travel for one or two people.
Travel in style, comfort and speed from
A to B, above all the traffic jams and even through the night.

FLY AMONGST THE STARS

The “basic” version of the BRISTELL B23 TURBO comes fully equiped and certified for Night VFR flying.
Enjoy the tranquility and the magical vistas of flying through the night with the comfort and safety provided by an auto pilot and the situational awareness only a glass cockpit can provide.

KEY FEATURES

The B23 TURBO comes with a range of features and some options for optimal performance, comfort and safety.

SAFETY FIRST
The BRISTELL B23 TURBO is certified both with and without a balistic parachute. As a standard, the B23 comes fitted with a balistic rescue system from BRS, the same company that provides the parachutes for e.g. Cirrus aircraft.
CONVENIENCE UP HIGH

Cross country flying will be easier and safer with an extra “pilot” on board. The modern and advanced Garmin auto pilot with GMC 507 mode control panel offers an easy interface and full control. Additionally, with one press on the blue LVL button, you’ll be (back) flying straight and level.

FULLY IN CONTROL, ALSO ON THE GROUND

Use your rudder pedals to control the nose wheel during taxying and stay in full control on the ground. For those extra tight turns, the B23 provides you with differential braking.

TAKE IT ALL

Both wings of the B23 TURBO provide you with a bagage compartment, allowing 20 kg of bagage each. Behind the seats you van store an additional 15 kg, totalling 55 kg of bagage allowance. And then you still have 230 kg of useful load left.

3-BLADED CONSTANT SPEED PROPPELER
The B23 TURBO comes equiped with a hydraulically adjustable 3-bladed variable pitch proppeler to get the most out of your Rotax 912 in both cruise and climb.
MOST SPACIOUS COCKPIT IN ITS CLASS

Even with two full-grown adults you’ll experience a comfortable flight, thanks to the uniquely spacious cockpit. The seamless window in the canopy makes you feel like you’re sitting outside, adding to the spacious feeling of flying a B23.

Garmin GNX 375

[OPTIONAL]
Upgrade your cockpit to be even more advanced and be fully ready for the future with ADS-B in/out.

Bristell B23 vs Bristell B23 Turbo

Sitting inside the BRISTELL B23 TURBO, there are only minor details that show you it’s not the normal B23. The biggest difference is under the hood.
This difference is very noticable during take-off, when you lift off in less than 200m and it continues to be noticable throughout the climb.

Thanks to the turbocharger, the B23 TURBO hardly loses any vertical speed and with over 1200 feet per minute, you’ll be at FL140 in no time!

Once straight and level, the airplane will accelerate to speeds in excess of 150 KTAS, getting you to where you want to go at high speed.
